We are pleased to announce that the September 2008 issue of MIS Quarterly Executive will be a special issue dedicated to academic research on IT-Business Alignment: Making It Real. All papers submitted for this special issue will be submitted to a regular MISQE review process under the guidance of one or more editors for the special issue. Authors are encouraged to submit papers intended for the senior IT executive which describe practice-oriented research findings and recommendations on the topic of alignment. Authors of accepted SIM Academic Workshop papers will automatically receive editorial feedback with specific suggestions for developing their ideas for the special issue.
